Electromagnetic force is the product of magnetic and electric forces that maintain physical structures; hence it can be called by the name physical force. It is neutral, neither attractive or repulsive, it maintains balance and inertia of the parental forces. This force binds electrons, protons, and neutrons together to make atoms, atoms bind together to form cells, and cells bind together to construct organs and tissue systems of the body. Electromagnetic force binds atoms and molecules together and produce visible, tangible, physical matter with mass and weight. Electrons are bound to the nucleus of an atom by electromagnetic force. This force governs the interactions between atoms that create molecules. Modern scientists say it binds electrons in the periphery of atom with protons in the nucleus and tags an electromagnetic mass in the nucleus to create neutrons that carries the weight of an atom. The basis of physical body is mass.
The physical body is the conduit through which mind is expressed through emotions. You can command your body and it will obey faithfully without any complaint or delay. The body is a vast receptacle into which forces and energies of mind and emotion flows through intricate system of vessels that carries hormones and nutrients and equally intricate nervous system that carries electrical signals just as rivers and streams from the mountains of the earth flows into the vast body of ocean. Any obstacle in the flow and distribution of forces causes disruption of the system and disease is manifested. Human body is strong and can withstand tremendous amount of abuse, but it has its breaking point.
The body is a servant, one should listen to its demands but not spoil nor punish it, moderation is a great virtue when dealing with your body or a servant’s demands. The biggest requirement for physical body is nutrition. Nutrients are needed by cells to survive. They need the four basic elements; carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, and nitrogen, plus, certain trace minerals like calcium, sodium, chloride, potassium, magnesium, iron, selenium, zinc etc. Most of these elements are in the air. Water contains hydrogen and oxygen plus many minerals depending on source and terrain of water flow. Raw rock salts and sea salts contain most minerals required by the body. Vegetables and fruits have all combinations of elements.
The weak electromagnetic force creates atoms and molecules that provide structure and solidity to the body. The physical force, according to Tibetan medical texts, is viscous and cohesive in nature, a force that glues different elements together to make molecules and cells. As stated, the emotional force is like fire and the mental force is like air. The fire of emotion translates electromagnetic energy of thoughts into proteins by activating genes in the DNA bank.
An atom by itself is electromagnetically neutral but within this neutral atom scientist found positively charged protons and negatively charged electrons. Interaction between protons and electrons create neutrons which makes atoms stable. Neutrons provide mass, solidity, and stability which forms the basis of physical existence. Without neutrons, an atom cannot exist as a solid entity. You might argue that hydrogen is an atom with no neutrons but precisely because of lack of neutron, hydrogen exist as an amorphous gas without any distinct shape. It exists as gas molecule that is spread out over the whole universe.
Consciousness is prime energy that exist in space, emotion is time that turns the wheel of energy into motion and transforms the prime energy into physical substance, and the body is the physical substance in motion. The body always exists in motion; a still body is a dead body. The body is always pulsing between contraction and expansion starting from heartbeat to breathing to movement of cells. Motion is caused by imbalance that is inherent in the polarity nature of existence, always trying to find the balance between contraction and expansion, if either of them becomes too strong, balance is lost, and life and health will be lost as well. This balance is found in union of opposites. The body needs union and balance between positive building materials as well as negative destructive energies.
The body as a still non-changing entity is an illusion, a false appearance. In fact, it is constantly changing, we just cannot appreciate these minute changes with our senses. Every microsecond there is birth and death of cells taking place. Our senses get deceived into thinking there is a continuity just as our senses get deceived by movie projected onto a screen to be one continuous moving image. In reality, the pictures are not moving at all. It is an illusion of motion created by sequential images of stillness stitched together. The actual images captured in films are not moving, they are static and dead. It’s the magic of electricity that makes the dead pictures come alive.
Electromagnetism provides building materials to construct body and the materials successive stages from food to plasma, plasma to blood cells, blood cells to muscle, muscle to fat, fat to bone, bone to marrow, and marrow to fluid essence according to Ayurveda and Tibetan medicine.
Food is first converted to plasma. The main ingredient of plasma are water, minerals, and electrolytes. Plasma feeds the blood cells that are bathing in it. Both red and white blood cells are filtered through liver and spleen. Liver is the filter in the beginning and spleen is the filter at the end. Blood feeds the muscle cells. Muscles gives us the power to express our feelings and thoughts. Surplus energy not used for muscle building and working is used to make fat cells. Fat is for storage of surplus energy and for protection. Fat protects all the delicate organs. Energy from fat is used to make bones which support muscles and give shape and structure to the body. Bone makes marrow which fills the spinal column and other long bones. Marrow and mind have a strong connection. Marrow makes the reproductive fluids and other nectar like fluids, the essence of food distilled.
Weak physical force symptoms are dryness, sensation of internal burning, a feeling of emptiness in the hollow chambers of the body, looseness of joints (a feeling as if the joints are broken), thirst, weakness, and insomnia.
Excessive physical force presents as; paleness, coldness, and numbness of the body, heaviness of limbs, drowsiness, lethargy, and feeling of looseness in joints.
There is parallel between human body and automobile—the steel body of a car in parallel with carbon body of man, air and fuel requirement in parallel with air and nutrition requirement, electrical system of car in parallel with nervous system, oil to lubricate and protect the engine in parallel with fat and mucus secretions. The driver is the one who owns the car in parallel with the conscious person who owns the body. Just as abuse and misuse of an automobile causes accidents and wrecks so does neglect of human body cause diseases and break downs.
